Luizzi

Thursday, November 25
Vitantonio Liuzzi seems to be doing well with Red Bull so far, but it is of course only testing. It should be great if/when he is driving for them next year if he really is that good!

F1 through the winter 2

Wednesday, November 24
The ex-Jaguars look nice in their new livery. It's so strange seeing drivers in the 'wrong' cars and overalls - Montoya in a McLaren, Webber in a Williams and Ralf in a Toyota. I suppose we will get used to them though.

If only BAR would use their 'stealth' livery when they go racing, it looks so good!

F1 through the winter

Yay, the testing ban is lifted for F1 over the winter! Can't wait to see the Jaguar Red Bulls running in their new livery on Wednesday.

Band Aid 20

Thursday, November 18
The new 'Band Aid 20' video was shown tonight in the UK, simulcast on most of the main TV channels at 17:50, so a huge number of people should have seen it. IMHO it was good but of course nothing can beat the original. It's out on the 29th - please go and buy it to support the charity if you liked it.

Monza

Wednesday, November 17
Wow! I just set a new PB of 1:29.275 around Monza in GPL! Trouble is, now I won't let it rest until I can get under 1:29, just like when I was going for 1:30...

World Rally Championship

Sunday, November 14
So, that's pretty much it for racing this year. Well done Sebastien Loeb for winning the last Rally of the season in Australia, but such a shame for Alistair McRae, losing the production championship with a broken differential, so near to the end. At least the WRC is back in January, so we don't have to wait too long. Hopefully next season PSA will change their minds about leaving at the end of 2005, and the Peugeot 307 will undoubtedly be more reliable than it has been this year.

Nascar Racing 2003

Saturday, November 13
A couple of days ago I bought a copy of Nascar Racing 2003 Season by Papyrus, the same people who made Grand Prix Legends. It's a pity that Papyrus aren't together any more, but at least there is still a large community and many addons. Daytona and Talladega are my favourite (tri-)ovals - you get the closest racing of any of the tracks as the cars use restrictor plates. Watkins Glen was in GPL, so it's interesting to see it how the track is today. I won my first race at Daytona today, though with the AI set to 75%. Unfortunately I can't see the game's full potential as my computer desperately needs upgrading.

Hello!

Hello and welcome to my new, imaginatively titled blog. I don't know how often I'll be updating it, but I should at least once a week. Enjoy :)
